Hoogendoorn establishes new division to support customized greenhouse automation |

VLAARDINGEN, the Netherlands, November 26, 2009: Hoogendoorn, a leading automation company in the greenhouse industry today announced the creation of a customized automation division, known as Innocom.
A new philosophy, a new approach coupled with inventiveness called for a new division within Hoogendoorn: Innocom (IT) B.V. will focus on the development of new markets, business models and product innovation.
To more effectively serve the company’s changing markets, the new Innocom division will focus on crop-specific software. Advanced technologies, web-based methodology and open source software are meant to make such software possible and support it.
Peter van Duijn, managing director Hoogendoorn Growth Management has been appointed to head the new division. Van Duijn brings with him a wealth in a broad range of business development capacities and has been working in the horticultural industry for more than 12 years. As of January 1 2010 Jos van Calsteren will be the new director of Hoogendoorn Growht Management. With products and services such as iSii, LetsGrow.com, solutions for semi-closed growing, Nomad and Sensiplant, Hoogendoorn's has gained a very strong market position.
