NAALDWIJK, the Netherlands, January 29, 2010:  The spring edition of the FloraHolland Trade Fair will take place in Naaldwijk from Wednesday 3 through Friday 5 March 2010.
This international trade fair attracts thousands of trade visitors and is considered the start of the new selling season. Over a period of three days, supply and demand literally come together.  The FloraHolland Trade Fair is a highly organized order fair with products that are available for direct purchase and by order. Furthermore, visitors to the fair will be able to network and acquire new ideas from the latest trends and new products. FloraHolland will also present its services to the fair visitors.
More flowers
This edition of the FloraHolland Trade Fair will feature a wide variety of domestic and international supply. Growers of cut flowers, green and flowering houseplants and garden plants will present their products on around 500 stands. The number of flower stands has doubled in comparison to the FloraHolland Trade Fair Naaldwijk 2009. New to Naaldwijk is the Flower Plaza, which will feature a selection from the (inter)national flower range per product group. In addition to this large supply, there is of course also room for innovation and inspiration at the FloraHolland Trade Fair. The New Products Plaza places the newest flowers and plants in the spotlights. Exporters, along with their customers, can also pick up plenty of ideas from the Trends and Concepts Plaza. Here they will be given a tour of inspiring concepts and collections for the wholesale industry. The Plants Plaza and the Personalized Sales offer have by now become permanent fixtures at the fair. On the Plants and Flowers Plazas, visitors will find the supply that is available through October 2010.
In a time when digital business plays an ever more important role, the e-Business Pavilion is an important feature at the FloraHolland Trade Fair. In this pavilion, visitors can find out everything there is to know about digital purchasing and selling via the auction clocks using the Remote Buying service (KOA) and via the FloraHolland e-Trade and PlantConnect.nl trading systems.
Opening times
The FloraHolland Trade Fair will be held at the FloraHolland Naaldwijk fair floor (entrance 319 and 317). The trade fair will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 March and from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday 5 March. Admission to the FloraHolland Trade Fair is free for trade visitors.
